JNTUH Relaxation of Promotion rules for R22 B.Pharmacy students from II Year to III Year and III Year to IV Year
JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) The promotion rules of B. Pharm R22 Academic Regulations are mentioned below:

| Second Year to Third Year | (i) Regular course of study of second year. (ii) Must have passed all the subjects/ courses up to I Year II Semester from all the relevant regular and supplementary examinations, whether the student takes those examinations or not. |
| Third Year to Fourth Year | (i) Regular course of study of third year. (ii) Must have passed all the subjects/ courses up to II Year II Semester from all the relevant regular and supplementary examinations, whether the student takes those examinations or not. |
In the Procds. (2) read above, the University has given certain credits relaxation for promotion rules to B.Tech. R22 Regulations students.
Representations received from the Principals of B.Pharmacy Colleges for relaxation in credit promotions to R22 B.Pharmacy on par with R22 B.Tech.
In the Procds. (4) read above, the University has relaxed the promotion rules from the II Year to the III Year for B.Pharmacy R22 Regulations, allowing a maximum of 6 subjects/courses as backlogs up to I Year II Semester from all relevant regular and supplementary examinations, regardless of whether the student has taken those examinations or not.
In continuation to the above, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to grant permission to relax the promotion rules from the II Year to the III Year and III Year to the IV Year for B.Pharmacy R22 Regulations as following:

| Third Year to Fourth Year | (i) Regular course of study of third year. (ii) allowing a maximum of 6 subjects/courses as backlogs up to II Year II Semester from all relevant regular and supplementary examinations, regardless of whether the student has taken those examinations or not. (i.e. 6 subjects out of 36 subjects). |
The above relaxations shall be implemented with immediate effect. However, this matter may be placed in the forthcoming Academic Senate/Executive Council meeting for ratification.
All the principals of B.Pharmacy colleges are requested to display the proceedings of subject relaxation and ensure that each student submits the appropriate undertaking with the signatures of self and parent on or before 12/12/2025. Also, you are requested to append your signature on all undertakings and preserve for future usage.
