TS EAPCET and ICET exam schedules revised

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced revised schedules for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TS EAPCET) 2024, as well as the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2024. The EAPCET will now take place from May 7 to 11, with the A&P test scheduled for May 7 and 8, and the engineering test from May 9 to 11. Previously, the EAPCET was slated for May 9 to 12.

This adjustment was made to avoid clashes with the Lok Sabha elections polling date, which falls on May 13. The TS ICET, which facilitates admissions into MBA and MCA programs, has been rescheduled for June 5 and 6 instead of June 4 and 5, to avoid overlap with election counting and result announcements on June 4. The entrance tests will be conducted in two sessions: from 9 am to 12 noon, and 3 pm to 6 pm.

In response to the increasing number of applicants, the capacity of test centers per session has been raised from 25,000 to 35,000. As of the latest count, JNTU-Hyderabad, which administers the TS EAPCET, has received 215,686 applications, including 154,891 for engineering, 60,624 for A&P, and 171 for both.

The deadline for online submission of applications without a late fee on the website https://eapcet.tsche.ac.in/ is April 6. Applicants can make corrections to their online applications between April 8 and 12.

For those submitting applications with a late fee, deadlines are April 9 (Rs.250), April 14 (Rs.500), April 19 (Rs.2,500), and May 4 (Rs.5,000) respectively. For the TS ICET, the last date to register without a late fee on the website https://icet.tsche.ac.in/ is April 30.
