JNTUH Mandatory Implementation of Biometric Attendance in all the Educational institutions - Reminder
JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) It is to inform that, a letter has been received from the Secretary to Government, Higher Education (MC) Department, Government of Telangana, stating that to implement the Aadhaar-enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) for students as well as staff in all the Constituent and Affiliated (both autonomous & nonautonomous) Colleges as required for calculating the attendance for promoting the students to the higher classes and also for the purpose of their e-pass scholarships / Fee reimbursement etc., Similarly, the Biometric Attendance needs to be used for calculating the duty period of the staff, both teaching and non-teaching and also for calculating their leaves.
All the Affiliated (both autonomous & nonautonomous) Colleges are hereby informed to send the conformation to the University immediately with regard to the Implementation of the Aadhaar enabled Biometric Attendance System (ABBAS) and also keep the data ready for sending it to the University regularly.
