OU - COVID-19 - Certain instructions & measures to control the spread of COVID - Enforcement till 10th January, 2022 - Circular - Issued

 Osmania University-OU The State Government of Telangana vide G.O. under reference cited, has imposed certain precautionary measures till 10.01.2022 to control the spread of COVID in view of the emergence of Omicron Variant.

In terms of the G.O. the managements of Establishment Offices, Educational Institutions etc. shall ensure that all the staff and students must follow COVID appropriate behavior viz,,
1, Mandatory wearing of face masks
2. Physical distancing
3. Frequent sanitization of premises
4, Provision for hand hygiene
5. Screening at entry points with IR thermometers./ thermal scanners

Further, the following shall be strictly prohibited till 10.01.2022:
1. Rallies
2. Public Meetings
3. Mass gatherings of all types including religious, political, and cultural events.

In view of the above, all the Offices /Colleges /Departments under the administrative control of Osmania University are hereby informed to strictly comply with the above instructions of the Government to control the spread of COVID in view df emergence of the Omicron Variant.
